# Refreshment Vehicles
Refreshment Vehicles are regulated under By-law No. 52-2022. Licences are free of charge and are required to operate a Refreshment Vehicle in the Township of Perth East.
See Licensing Requirements below for documentation required with each application.
Please allow at least 2 business days to have your application approved.
Please thoroughly read through By-law 52-2022 to understand all the requirements and regulations. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Municipal Clerk.
Licensing Requirements
Every licence application to operate a Refreshment Vehicle shall include:
* A complete Application Form
* A picture of the Refreshment Vehicle
* A copy of the Motor Vehicle or Trailer Registration (if applicable)
* A valid safety standards certificate issued by a provincially authorized Motor Vehicle Inspection mechanic (if applicable)
* Proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance in the amount of five million dollars
* Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance in the amount of two million dollars (if applicable)
* Proof of a current inspection and approval from the Huron Perth Public Health Unit, or other Ontario Public Health Organization
* Mobile Food Service Equipment Inspection Self Checklist from the Perth East Fire Department
* A current certificate issued on the prescribed Technical Standards and Safety Act Application for Field Approval of Mobile Food Service Equipment by a provincially authorized propane or natural gas fitter (if applicable)

The following Refreshment Vehicles are licensed to operate in the Township of Perth East for the 2026 calendar year:

* The Chilled Chime
* Crazee Kernels
* GC Roadside
* Holy Smokes BBQ
* KC Street Eats
* Moka Eatery
* Serendipity Sips Mobile Bar
* Shakespeare & Community Athletic Association and Optimist Club of Tavistock
* The Sideyard
* SWAT
* West's Corners Coffee Company
* The Wild Boar
