#### Payment Options for Taxes
Tax payments can be made by cheque, cash, or debit at the Municipal Office, located at 135 Kendall St. Cheques may also be mailed to 135 Kendall St., Point Edward, ON, N7V 4G6, or dropped in the locked mailbox located to the left of the Municipal Office front door.
You can also make payments at the bank or through online banking using your roll number (19-digit number beginning with 3831) as the account number with no spaces, decimals or dashes.
**Pre-Authorized Payments (PAP) are also available.**
Your two pre-authorized payment options are:
1. **Instalment (by Due Date)**
You can pay your taxes on the instalment due dates: March 1, July 2 or October 1 (If this date falls on a weekend, then the due date is next business day).
2. **Monthly**
An automatic withdrawal of 12 equal instalments will be taken from your bank account on the 5th day of each month. The amount will be based on your previous year's taxes until the final taxes for the current year have been established. Your pre-authorized payment amount will be recalculated, and you will be notified in writing of any changes. Please advise on the enrolment form when you wish your plan to start.
All arrears **MUST** be paid in full prior to implementation. You may then apply to have the instalment amounts withdrawn from your bank account. There is no service fee from the municipality for this program. Any bank charges are the responsibility of the applicant. Supplementary tax billings will be your responsibility, as this program will not cover them.
\*\* Fill out PAP Agreement for each roll number and return it with a VOID cheque or Direct Deposit Form 20 days prior to your first payment to the Municipal Office.
* Pre-Authorized Payment Registration Form
We are pleased to answer any questions that you may have on your tax bills. Please provide your roll number, civic address and full name with all communications.
