THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF RAINY RIVER
BY-LAW 1873-24

Being a by-law to make amendments to the miscellaneous user fees.
______________________________________________________________
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 391 of the Municipal Act, 2001, The Planning Act and
other Acts permits the Council of a municipality to pass a by-law prescribing fees or charges
for services rendered including the processing of applications made in respect of planning
matters and other matters; and
WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to amend the miscellaneous user fee by-law;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the following amendments be made to By-law 1861-23:
1. THAT Section 1.5 for Sign Board Fees be amended as follows:
1.5.4 Special for-profit events/advertisements from
$10.00 per week
Rainy River Businesses (showcased)
2. THAT Section 9 for Utilities be amended as follows:
9.5
Sewer (per unit)
$14.20/month
This By-Law shall come into force and take effect immediately upon the passage thereof.
READ AND PASSED IN OPEN COUNCIL THIS 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 2024.
