The Municipality of Shuniah has two Landfill Sites that are available for use by residents and property owners only. **Punch cards are available for purchase at the Municipal Office (only). Limit of 2 punch cards annually per property**. These cards do not expire! Each card has 104 punches (each punch represents one bag of garbage) and 1 special clean-up punches (1/2 ton truck or trailer).
Invoices issued at landfill locations must be paid at the Municipal Office at 420 Leslie Ave, 15 days after receiving the invoice.
New since the spring of 2001 the MacGregor Landfill Site has added a recycling depot for corrugated cardboard.
