The Corporation of The Township of Stirling-Rawdon By-Law No. 09-25 A by-law to establish user fees and charges and to repeal By-law 43-24 Whereas Section 391 of the Municipal Act, 2001, 5.0. 2001, c.25, as amended, provides authority for a Council of a municipality to pass by-Iaws imposing fees or charges on any class of persons, for services or activities provided or done on behalf of them; and Whereas Council deems it necessary and expedient to repeal By--Iaw43--24 to establish user fees and charges which was enacted on August 19, 2024; Now Therefore the Council for The Corporation of The Township of Stirling- Rawdon hereby enacts as follows: 1. That the Treasurer shall add the fees and charges imposed pursuant to this by-Iaw to the tax roll for any real property in the municipality for which all of the property owners are responsible for paying fees and charges under this by--Iawand collect them in the same manner as municipal taxes in accordance with Section 398 of the Municipal Act, 2001 SO. c.25 as amended. 2. That the fees and charges listed, where applicable be subject to any applicable provincial and federal taxes. 3. That the following fee schedules shall form part of the by--law: . Schedule "A" -- Administration & Finance Schedule "B" -- Licensing/By--law Schedule "C" -- Planning Schedule "D" -- Recreation Schedule "E" -- Public Works Schedule "F" -- Environmental -- Tipping Fees Schedule "G" -- Water and Wastewater Schedule "H" -- Fire 4. That the following fees shall be found in separate topic--specific by-laws: . Building Services as per current Building Permit By-Iaw . Cemetery as per current Cemetery By-Iaw . Water and Sewer User Fees as per current Water and Sewer rate By-- law . Tax Rates . Development Charges 5. That where a fee and charge that also exists in another by--Iawpredates the effective date of this by--Iaw, this by--Iawshall be the applicable fee and charge. By-law 09--25 Page 2 of 6 6. Note: All construction debris delivered to the landfill site must direct/y result from the specific work or project authorized by a current and validly issued building permit issued by the municipality for lands within the municipality.
