# Zoning Zoning By-Law Project ## Purpose of a Zoning By-law A Zoning By-law identifies the zones that show how a property can be used. A property can be used for various land uses that range from residential to commercial to industrial to agricultural, along with many other land uses. A zoning bylaw contains provisions that regulate: * how land can be used; * what can be built on a property; * the use, size, height, density and location of buildings and/or structures on a property; and * where a building and/or structure can be located on a property. ## Tecumseh Zoning By-law 2026-050 **TAKE NOTICE** that the Council of the Town of Tecumseh passed Zoning By-law 2026-050 on September 15, 2026 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
