In the Township of Tehkummah, Ontario, sight triangle: On a corner lot, no fence, sign, hedge, shrub, bush, tree, or other structure/vegetation shall exceed 1 metre above street grade within the triangular area measured 6 metres from the intersection of street lines.. On corner lots, fences/hedges within the daylighting (sight) triangle may not exceed 1m in height. Fences under 1.5m are exempt from the by-law's structure/permit provisions. Commercial/industrial lots abutting residential lots must have a fence or hedge row at least 1.5m high in the required planting strip.
