**SCHEDULE OF FEES & CHARGES**
**AS PER BY-LAW NO. 2026-20**
*ADMINISTRATION*:
Photocopying: $0.25 per page, $1:00 per colour copy
Yard Sale: $7.50
Blue Box: Full Cost Recovery
Lottery Licence (Outside Organizations): 3% of total prize value; subject to minimum fee of $5.00 and maximum fee of $250.00
Lottery Licence for Tweed based organizations : $25.00 per year
Marriage Licence: $200.00
Marriage Officiant Fee: $250.00
Burial Permit (Tweed Deaths): $15.00
Burial Permit (Out of Town Deaths) $40.00
Commissioner of Oaths: $15.00 for first 5 pages and $1.00 per page thereafter
Tax Certificate: $150.00 (includes Work Orders; Liens)
NSF Cheque Fee: $75.00
Display Signs (on municipal property): $15.00 per year
Zoning Letter: $150.00
Zoning Compliance: $150.00
Zoning Amendment: $500 (Municipal fee only, County and Quinte Conservation Fees also apply)
Minor Variance: $300.00 (Municipal fee only, County and Quinte Conservation Fees also apply)
Severance Fee : $500.00
Recirculation of planning notices $250.00
Site Plan Review: $1,500.00
Subdivision Site Plan Review: $5,000.00
Parkland Fee: $750.00
Road Closing: Applicant pays all costs (advertising, legal, etc)
*ANIMAL CONTROL*:
Fees set as per By-law No. 2014-07, as amended.
Dog Tags per calendar year:
January 1st - March 31st $25.00/dog
April 1st - December 31st $60.00/dog
Kennel Licence per calendar year:
January 1st - March 31st $150.00/licence
April 1st - December 31st $200.00/licence
*BUILDING & PLUMBING*:
Fees set as per By-law No. 2021-34, as amended.
*FIRE*:
Burning Permit: $25.00 each per calendar year
Inspection: $200.00
Return Inspection: $125.00
*RECREATION*:
*Arena Ice Rental*:
$185.00/hour (includes HST) Prime Time Rate
$125.00/hour (includes HST) Non Prime Time Rate
$125.00/hour (includes HST) Minor Hockey and Figure Skating in Prime Time Hours
Prime Time Hours: Rentals after 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and all day Saturday & Sunday.
*Arena - Summer Use*:
$700.00 for Receptions plus damage deposit of $250.00
$60.00/hour (includes HST) for Ball Hockey, etc.
*Arena Sign Rental*:
Wall Signs $100 + HST first season. $200 + HST per season.
Board Signs $400 + HST first season. $300 + HST per season.
Protective Cover for 1st time Board Sign Purchase $113.00
Zamboni Signs $400.00/season
Corporate Sponsorship of Public Skating: $56.50
Ice Surface Ad: $600 + HST
*Ball Diamond Rental*:
$33.00 (+ HST) for day use
$33.00 (+ HST) for evening use
$20.00 (+ HST) for day use - youth rate
$25.00 (+ HST) for evening use - youth rate
$60.00 (+ HST) per day for tournaments
$150.00 Corporate day use.
*Soccer Field Rental*:
Tweed Soccer Association - $1,650.00/season (+ HST)
Outside Groups - $60.00 (+ HST)
Outside Groups - Tournaments/day - $100 (+ HST)
*Splash Pad*:
Outside School Groups - $2.00/person (+ HST)
*Fence Sign Rental at Recreation Areas:*
$175 + HST
*PUBLIC WORKS*:
Entrance Permit:
Municipality recovers all costs incurred for work carried out which includes the cost of culvert, gravel and staff hours.
Administration Fee - $175.00
Plus Applicable Deposits: Residential - $500.00; Commercial - $1,000.00
Municipal Consent: $500.00
Municipal Consent Expansion $0.40 / meter for Rural and $1.33 /meter urban.
Right of way: $500.00
Water Service Connection: $50.00
Temporary Water Disconnect and Water Reconnect: $60.00
Temporary Road Occupancy $50.00 or $15 per day.
Wide Load Permits : $100.00
***WASTE DISPOSAL SITE*:**
Bag Tags: $3.00 per tag.
*RESIDENTIAL RATES*: **Non-recyclable garbage in CLEAR BAGS ONLY.**
Regular Bags and Containers as defined in Waste Management By-law $3.00
Oversize Bags and Oversize Containers $4.00
*TIRES*:**Accepted Free of Charge.**
No tires with rims accepted.
*ELECTRONICS*: **A****ccepted Free of Charge.**
Televisions, Computers, Printers, etc.
*BRUSH*: **$20 1/2 ton or small trailer $40 for a dump truck.**
BRUSH CHIPPED: **$10.00 1/2 ton or small trailer $20.00 for dump truck**
*METAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES*: **Accepted Free of Charge.**
**Must be placed in scrap metal pile.**
Stoves, Washers, Dryers, Water Tanks, Toasters, Microwaves, Food Processors, Kettles, Lawn Chairs,
Decommissioned Refrigerators, Freezers and Air Conditioners, etc.
*BULK ITEMS*:
Furniture, Construction Debris, Shingles, Painted & Stained Lumber, etc.
$205.90 per ton
Loads under 350 lbs. - $30.00 minimum charge.
Tractor Trailers are **NOT**permitted access to the Waste Site.
**Construction debris delivered to the Waste Site must result from specific work or project within the Municipality which would be authorized by obtaining a Building Permit or Demolition Permit from the Chief Building Official. A copy of the permit is required to deposit construction debris at the Waste Site.**
