SECTION 24
TEMPORARY (T) ZONE
The Temporary (T) Zone is intended to apply to any lands within the Township of Wellesley in accordance
with the Temporary Uses policies of the Official Plan.
24.1
PERMITTED USES
The following temporary uses will be permitted subject to a site-specific Zoning By-law
amendment for the time period ending as listed in Section 21.4:
T1:
A land use activity on a specific parcel of land which is appropriate in the
short term, but is otherwise prohibited in the Zoning By-law, for a period up
to three (3) years from the date of passing of the implementing By-law
T2:
A garden suite for a period up to twenty (20) years from the date of passing
of the implementing By-law subject to available private/public services
24.2
SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
Temporary uses will be subject to the main use zoning provisions of this By-law for the
applicable zone in which the temporary use is located.
24.3
EXPIRATION OF TEMPORARY ZONING
Upon expiration of a Temporary (T) Zone, the lands subject to the temporary zoning will
be revert to the regulations of the underlying zone prior to temporary rezoning.
24.4
DEFINED AREA AND END DATES
