**Tax Bills** Property taxes in the Township of White River are issued twice per year: an interim bill and a final bill each with two installment due dates. Tax bills are mailed to property owners and include details on due dates, payments options and how to stay up to date. A late payment charge applies to all past due taxes at a rate of 1.25% each month. Failure to receive a tax notice does not waive any liability for payment of taxes or penalty interest charges. If the due date falls on a holiday or a weekend, the property owner is responsible for making arrangements to keep their bill up to date prior to their billing due date. **Property Tax Billing Notices** Interim Billing is issued in the beginning of March each year. Interim tax bills are calculated based on 50% of the previous years' total taxes. This is due March 31st and May 31st. Final billing is issued end of September each year. This is due October 31st and November 30th. **2025 Tax Rates** To view BY-LAW NO. 2025 - 17 for the 2025 Tax Rates for The Corporation of the Township of White River, click here.
