THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF WOLLASTON
BY-LAW NO.: 19-2022
A By-law to amend Schedule "C" of By-law No. 25-2009, pertaining to waste site
fees, for the Township of Wollaston, to include the fee for bag tags or stickers.
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Wollaston passed By-law No. 25-
2009, being a by-law to prohibit the unauthorized disposal of waste, regulate a
recycling system and regulate the disposal of waste for the Township of
Wollaston on March 04, 2009;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient, as per Resolution No. 14-2021
dated September 13, 2021, to amend By-law No. 25-2009, as amended, to
include the addition of bag tag fees as follows:

AND WHEREAS public notice regarding the addition of bag tag fees has been
provided;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of The Township of
Wollaston hereby enacts the following amendment to By-law No. 25-2009, as
amended:
1.
That effective April 01, 2022 to and including December 31, 2022, there
shall be a fee of $1.00 per sticker or tag, which shall be made by the
purchase from the Township or its authorized agents of stickers or tags.
2.
That effective January 01, 2023 to and including December 31, 2024,
there shall be a fee of $1.50 per sticker or tag, which shall be made by the
purchase from the Township or its authorized agents of stickers or tags.
3.
That effective January 01, 2025, there shall be a fee of $2.00 per sticker or
tag, which shall be made by the purchase from the Township or its
authorized agents of stickers or tags.
4.
That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the immediate
passing hereof.
