Bag tags are sold at the municipal office and waste site.
#### **Waste Site Transfer Cards**
Waste Site Transfer Cards are issued for two (2) years. Your current card is valid for 2026. Please continue to use this card until a new card is issued in late 2026/early 2027.
You are required to use Clear Garbage Bags Only. Recycling is mandatory and must be properly sorted.
#### **Waste Site Hours**
The waste site is closed on Canada Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday regardless of the usual hours below. This list may not be exclusive - be sure to check our facebook page for updates.
**Summer**
May 1 - October 31
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm
**Winter**
November 1 - April 30
Wednesday, Friday, Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm
#### Reuse Centre
Don't forget to check out our reuse centre! A great way of diverting items that are used but not used up, while raising money for local community improvement projects. There is also a bulletin board at the waste site for residents to post notice of larger items offered "free to a good home".
#### Recycling
Wollaston's recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario. See the link below for Circular Materials website resources for our Township.
