## TOWN OF LANGHAM
## BYLAW NO. 4-96
A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF LANGHAM PROVIDING A LIMITED RESTRICTION FOR THE KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK, POULTRY AND BEES WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF LANGHAM IN THE PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN.
THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LANGHAM, in the Province of Saskatchewan, in open meeting hereby enacts as follows:
## 1/ Definitions:
- a) "Livestock" as used in this bylaw means cattle, goats, sheep, swine, horses and all fur bearing animals kept for profit, but does not include a pet.
- b) "Poultry" means chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys.
- c) "R2-Residential District" means a zoning division within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Langham and regulated land use.
- d) "Pet" means an animal or bird that is tamed or domesticated and kept as a companion.
5. 2/ No person shall keep livestock, poultry or bees within the corporate limits of the Town of Langham save and except for those areas designated as R2-Residential District wherein a maximum of one (1) horse per two (2) full acres is allowed.
6. 3/ Any provisions found within the statutes or the regulations thereto, of the Department of Health in the keeping of a pet or horses and not covered within this bylaw shall conform with such statute or regulation.
7. 4/ Infractions against this bylaw will be subject to the General Penalties Bylaw of the Town of Langham.
8. 5/ This bylaw shall take effect and come into force on the date of its final passing.
