RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF BLAINE LAKE #434 BYLAW NO 04-2020 A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH SPEED LIMITS OF SIXTY KILOMETERS PER HOUR ON MUNICIPAL ROADS IN THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF BLAINE LAKE #434 The Council of the Rural Municipality of Blaine Lake #434 in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1. This Bylaw shall be known as the "Speed Limit 60 Bylaw". 2. Speed: 1. No person shall operate a vehicle which is greater than 10,000 kilograms at a speed greater than sixty (60) km per hour on all municipal roads within the Rural Municipality of Blaine Lake #434. 3. Any person who contravenes any provisions of the bylaw is guilty of an offense and liable on summary conviction to the penalties imposed by The Summary Offences Procedure Act, 1990 and any other applicable legislation. 4. Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of clause 2 of this bylaw is guilty of an offense and liable on summary conviction to the penalties provided in the General Penalty Bylaw of the municipality. 5. Any person who is in contravention of this bylaw may make a voluntary payment as per section 10(1) of The Summary Offences Procedure Act, 1990 equivalent to the Provincial rates.
