RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF MARIPOSA NO. 350 BYLAW NO. 2-2020 A Bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 3-2017, known as the Zoning Bylaw of the Rural Municipality of Mariposa No. 350. The Council of the Rural Municipality of Mariposa No. 350, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts to amend Bylaw No. 3-2017 as follows: 1. Section 4.14 Setback from Centre Line of Roads is amended by deleting the section in its entirety and replacing it with the following new sections: "4.14.1 The minimum setback of buildings, including dwellings, signs, trees, permanent structures, and opaque fences, from the centre line of a municipal road allowance, grid road, main farm access or provincial highway on all sites shall be 45 metres (150 feet). On provincial highways the minimum setbacks shall be regulated by the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. Development on sites that does not abut such roads shall observe the minimum front yard setbacks as identified in the specific regulation for those districts. 4.14.2 The minimum setback of non-opaque fences including, but not limited to, page, corral, and barbed-wire fences, etc., shall be 1.0 metre from the municipal road allowance, provided that the proposed fence will not create a road intersection visibility or road maintenance issue." 2. Section 4.23 is amended by adding the following new subsection: "4.23.3 Temporary Signs (1) Government signs, memorial signs, signs advertising residential occupants or addresses and directional signs that bear no advertising, including traffic control, no trespassing, hunting restriction and similar signs, are exempt from restriction. (2) Temporary signs, including election signs and real estate signs are permitted only as long as the temporary condition exists for the property. Election signs shall be removed within five days following the official end of the relevant election period. (3) All private signs shall be located so that no part of the sign is located over a public right- of-way. (4) No sign shall obstruct views within roadway intersection sight lines. 3. Table 6-1 is amended by replacing the Subject to Section reference "4.3.10" under Residential Uses (1) Dwelling units as an accessory use, except the first farm dwelling, with "4.13.1". 4. Table 6-1 is amended by replacing the Subject to Section reference "4.3.10" under Residential Uses (2) Farm Dwellings, with "4.13.1". 5. Table 6-1 is amended by adding the following development standards under Commercial Uses (6) Drive-in theatres: Use Permitted or Discretionary Subject to Sections Minimum Site Area (ha) Maximum Site Area (ha) Minimum Site Width (m) Minimum Front Yard (m) Minimum Side Yard (m) Minimum Rear Yard (m) (6) Drive-in theatres D 0.4 1 acre -- 30 98.4 feet 35 114.8 feet 10 32.8 feet 10(3) 32.8 feet 6.
