## BYLAW NO. 39-01
## A BYLAW TO REGULATE THE SPEED OF MOTOR VEHICLES
The Council of the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews No. 287 in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1. For the purpose of this bylaw the expression:
- b. "motor vehicle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Highway Traffic Act.
3. "public highway" shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, but shall not include a provincial highway as designated pursuant to such Act:
2. No person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater speed than 70 kilometres per hour on that portion of a public highway described as follows:
5. Grid 203 (0.0-9.7) East of sections 3, 10, 15, 22, 27 & 34, township 29, range 13, west of the 3rd meridian.
6. Grid 202(0.0-9.7) East of sections 3, 10, 15, 22, 27 & 34, township 28, range 13, west of the 3rd meridian.
- C. Grid 204 (0.0-8.9) East of sections 3, 10, 15, 22, 27 & 34, township 30, range 13, west of the 3rd meridian.
- e. Grid 206 (0.0-3.2) East of section 28 & 33, township 29, range 14, west
- d. Grid 205 (0.0-4.5) East of sections 4, 9 & 16, township 30, range 14, west of the 3rd meridian.
- f. Special Gravel 452 (0.0-3.2) East of section 17 & 20, township 30, range 14, west of the 3rd meridian.
- g. Primary Grid Surfaced Heavy Haul 101(0.0-10.7) North of sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 & Pt. 24, township 30, range 14, west of the 3rd meridian and North of section 24, township 30, range 15, west of the 3rd meridian.
3. Signs indicating the maximum speed shall be erected at the commencement of the speed zone area and signs shall be erected showing the end of the speed zone area.
4. Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to the penalties provided under section 174(5)(b) of the Rural Municipalities Act, 1989.
