M-11 ## BYLAW NO. 12-1984 A BYLAW TO REGULATE THE SPEED OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN THE HAMLETS OF GARRICK, SHIPMAN AND SNOWDEN in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: The Council of the Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488 1. In this bylaw the expression: - (a) "public highway" shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Highways Act, but shall not include a provincial highway as designated in pursuance of such Act: (b) "motor vehicle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Vehicles Act. 2. No person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater speed than 40 kilometers per hour on any public highway within any of the hamlets of Garrick, Shipman or Snowden. the point of entry or commencement of the speed zone area. on all streets entering the hamlets and shall be placed at 3. Any person guilty of an infraction of the provisions of this bylaw shall be liable to the penalties in the general penalty bylaw of the municipality. 5.
