VILLAGE OF STRONGFIELD
BYLAW NO.
A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF STRONGFIELD TO FIX THE RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR
THE USE AND CONSUMPTION OF WATER AND TO FIX THE RATES TO BE CHARGED BY
WAY OF RENT OR SERVICE CHARGE FOR THE USE OF SEWER
COUNCIL of the Village of Strongfield, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1, The charges to be paid by the water consumer whose water service has been turned on shall be
those set out in Schedule "A" attached; provided, however, that the minimum shall be payable in
every case whether or not any water is consumed.
2: Persons who own or occupy premises drained or that are by bylaw required to be drained into the
sewer shall pay for such services a rental rate or service charge in accordance with Schedule "B
attached.
3. The fees of infrastructure from Line 19 will be charged directly as a result of fees charged to the
Village in accordance with Schedule “C’” attached.
4. The fee for garbage and recycle will be as a result of the billing to the Village in accordance with
Schedule “D” attached.
5. Accounts shall be paid within a period of thirty days from the date on which such accounts are
rendered. If an account is not paid within the period of thirty days, the water service may be cut off.
When the water service is cut off, it shall not be turned on until all arrears have been paid, together
with a fee of $250.00 to cover the expenses of turning off the water and turning it on again.
6. A penalty of 100 gal of water will be added to all water and sewer accounts where a
representative is needed to come and get the reading and the end of the quarter.
ie Bylaw No. 1-2024 is repealed.
THE rates, charges, tolls or rents contained in this bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the day of
approval being issued by the Local Government Committee.

SCHEDULE "A"
TO BYLAW NO. 1-2025
MONTHLY WATER RATES:
a) Month on of the Quarter - $25.00 for 1000 gallons
b) Monthe two of Quarter - $25.00 for 1000 gallons
c) Monthe three of Quarter — there will be a picture reading required and
the difference from the last quarter to the end of the next quarter will be charged
the rate of $25.00 per 1000 gallons ( minus the two thousand gallons paid in the
minimum of the first two months

MONTHLY SEWER SERVICE CHARGES
A rate of $10.00 per month for sewer
SCHEDULE "C"
TO BYLAW NO. 1-2025
INFRASTRUCTURE FEE:
A rate of $23.00 per month for infrastructure

TO BYLAW NO. 1-2025
Garbage/Recycle Fee:
A rate of $22.00 per month for Garbage and Recycle
