In the City of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, fences & pool enclosures rules are set by City of Weyburn Swimming Pool Bylaw No. 2024-3483, verified 2026-09-27. Pool enclosure: Enclosure min height 1.5 m; gate must swing outward and have self-closing device returning to closed position after each use.

Private pools/hot tubs need an enclosure at least 1.5m high with a self-closing, self-latching, lockable gate swinging away from the pool; max 4-inch gaps; discharge capped at 90 L/min.
In residential zones fences/hedges are capped at 2.44m in rear and side yards and 0.75m in the front yard (and the rear yard of a through site); on corner lots plantings/structures within the intersection sight triangle are limited to 0.75m.
