Sec. 8.23.085: Without permit, no amplification exceeding 50 dB within 50 ft of equipment. With permit, sound shall not exceed 75 dB at boundaries of permitted area. Violation is misdemeanor.

Sec. 8.04.010: unlawful to make/continue loud, unnecessary or unusual noise annoying, disturbing, injuring or endangering comfort, repose, health, peace or safety. Subsection (b) restricts yelling/shouting on public streets, sound amplification for commercial advertising without City Council permission.
