Short-term rentals — Pawlet, Vermont

Requires registration of any short-term rental (furnished dwelling rented under 30 consecutive days, more than 14 days/year); owner/manager must be reachable 24/7, post required safety/contact notices, obtain a Meals & Rooms Tax ID, and arrange trash removal; civil penalty up to $200/day for noncompliance. Effective April 16, 2024.
