In the Town of Tisdale, Saskatchewan, fences & pool enclosures rules are set by Town of Tisdale Bylaw No. 10/08 (The Private Swimming Pools Bylaw), verified 2026-09-27. Pool enclosure: Minimum height 1.5 m; gates must be self-closing, self-latching, locking and swing outward.

Requires a permit plus a minimum 1.5m-high enclosure (fence/wall/gate) around any private swimming pool; repeals prior Bylaw 11/80.
Section 4.8 Fences: max 1.0m high in front yard, 2.0m in side/rear yard; corner-lot intersection sight triangle limited to 1.0m for fences, hedges and trees.
